The photo below is what I want to do.  3/4 inch ply joined together at 90 Degrees with a 45 degree miter.  Holes on the inside will be hidden from view.  I don't think it can be done.  But if anyone has an idea... I want to hear it cuz I don't want any end grain showing.

Regards - John

oh... by the way.  I love the Kreg Jig.  I can't stop thinking of ways to use it.  And... anyone out there using Sketch-Up to design?

John,

Unfortunately this is one of the few applications where pocket holes will not work.  The reason for this is that with your miter too much material is taken away which will not leave room for your screw.  If you were to try this application, your screw will come through your receiving piece.  If you have any other questions please let us know.

Ok... as I thought.  No problem.  I will put on the outside and work around this little issue.  The Jig is still the best thing I use for speed and strength.  I appreciate you contacting me. Regards - John

This is another option I have.  Still get to use the Kreg Jig.  Still get the strength, and the 45 degree angle that I'm looking for on the edge.  I'll keep the end grain on the top were its not so hard to look at.  Kind of cool look to it.

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
