I thought I would but after a couple months of researching and reading reviews, I decided no to make that purchase....
I have had a Carvewright for over a year now. I have had very few issues with setup.....it's the program for designing new patterns that is very poorly documented. One must make very sure the bits are fully seated in the chuck, Mine grenaded and it was my fault. Other than that, I love the machine.
For less money just about anyone could build a much larger and far more versatile CNC router machine. There is lots of FREE information out there on the web to help.

I have met a couple of people who have already built their own CNC routers and they both mentioned that it was a better way to go as by building it themselves, being totally hands on, they have a better understanding of how it works and how to troubleshoot it if necessary. Also upgrading and customizing after the initial plan or kit build didn't seem to be at all intimidating for them, they both told me of tweaks they made or were planning.

Google search "CNC router plans" and see for yourself.
