When I ripped the sheet of plywood I made 3 cuts of 6". On the 2nd and 3rd cuts I had no pressure on the ripcut be cause I thought I might be causing the wobble. In fact on the 3rd cut I let go of the ripcut about 6" before the end of the cut.

Did you still have that uneven edge at the last bit of the cut?

Any way to get a "true" cut using the rip-cut?

Seems like everyone that has the rip cut has problems, or they are not talking.

I did a search and came up with one in Leamington ON.

I WENT ON AMAZON AND IT WAS $28.95 AND NO SHIPPING OR TAX.  IT WILL BE HERE THIS WEEK.

Such is life on the internet. Most people are probably just using them normally. The only ones who come back are the ones who had a problem. ;)

Yes I think you could fix the problem by taking and mounting a sacrficial fence on the surface of the plywood your using to suport your material your cutting. It would have to be mounted 90 degress to the cut then line up the plywood edge which the guide will follow. Its also a good idea to clamp the material being cut to the suport material away from the guide end. I will try to build . The fence would probably be made of 3/8 inch plywood since it could not be any higher than the plywood being cut. You could not cut anything much thinner that.

I was thinking the plastic guide could be made longer giving you more stability thru the cut.  I'd probably have to fashion something a little longer, say 18 or 24 inches, providing leverage on the back end of the cut.

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
