First big Kreg project: Ikea hack coffee table... advice needed!

I've done a few small projects with Kreg tools before, but this will be my first custom undertaking and I'd appreciate any advice.

I'm making a coffee table from two sheets of Ikea "Lagan" countertops (See here for the specs: Lagan). I've used these before for a desk and they are cheap and sturdy. Attached are the sketchup file and a couple screenshots...

Specifically, I'm looking for advice on doing the pocket holes with the mitered joins. The angles are all 30 degrees. I'm just wondering if there's anything I should look out for, or do differently than if I was doing a normal 90 join with pocket holes. The only joins I'm really worried about are the side to the bottom panel. I think I've planned it well so that it will be strong and the pocket holes will all be internal and easy to screw in place if done in the right order. I'll join sides to bottom, then center supports to top, then top to sides, then screw center supports in from the bottom.

Also looking for advice on legs! Anyone have any creative ways to join legs with pocket holes in a project like this?

Thanks so much for your help!

I'm by no means an engineer, but the joints you mentioned on the bottom appear to be problematic to me. Pocket holes from the inside of those joints definitely won't offer much strength. I would also reverse the joint where the top meets the end pieces. The pocket hole would need to be on the outside of the acute angle in either instance, but this would put it in the end and would have the ends supporting the top better.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
