ok here is the photo. hope it loads. I still need to stain everything and lug it into the house to put together.

Hi Adam!  I'm so excited to see this post. I'm starting a very similar project today.  All of my wood is sitting in my living room acclimating to the house temperature.  :)  Very excited to get started.  What kind of wood did you use?  Is that hemlock?  Also, I can't see the edges of your boards, is that 1x or 2x lumber?  I bought 2x8 boards for the top of my table...  I'm hoping they join together well with the Kreg Jig!  I've never joined 2x lumber (to form a flat tabletop surface) before, just 1x...  Would love your thoughts!

The wood is just pine 2x12's and 2x6's on the ends. The kreg worked great. I just made sure to clamp everything down on a good flat surface when I put the screws in. I've actually got it stained but am out of town and can't post the picture

I'm planning on build the same thing in a few months.  I was also thinking of 2"x8" rustic timber.  What settings did you use on your jig?  Did you plain the sidesof the boards to make them flush?

I used the 1 1/2 inch setting for the 2x lumber. I didn't plane anything out. I wanted it to look pretty rustic. I sanded everything to 220 grit and distressed it by smacking a screw with a hammer, the hammer itsself and me pocket knife. It turned out great. I'll post the finished pictures in a couple of days. Good luck and have fun with it.

I've stained the table in dark walnut.

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
