Cedar chest

Looking to build 2 cedar chests in the spring and started looking for cedar in my area. Was curious what a fair price for cedar would be per board foot? Also never having worked with cedar, it there any specific things I should look for when working with it, like splitting, inhaling dust. Also how does cedar work with the kreg?

You are in NH, but here is a place to try: customcedarproductsinc.com . They are in Portland, OR. They might have a job shipping out your way, though, so you may get a decent price on shipping.

Beautiful cedar. Wonderful place to visit if you are ever in the area.
