Kreg Router lift, and a Porter Cable 890 series with no info about setup.

Hi,

I called Kreg Tech they have no ideas how to setup the Porter Cable 890 Motor to the Kreg router lift I bought the Pads #350 for the 3 1/2 inch PC 690-890 sears , but there are  no installation paper for the motor PC 890, but  only for the PC 7518.

I build a Kreg router  system with, Fence, Stan, Router lift, build my own table top with a different color then grey plastic laminate.

The PC 890 has a spindle lock button,  and after the insert to the router lift  the Spindle lock button it's with the 3/8 thickness aluminum plate, should it be or above of the plate or under the plate before I screw the four screws to hold the motor?.   The motor it self can't go through the center of the plate it stop by a plastic pinion lift to the edge of the plate there are two screw to the motor if this has to be remove before to setup the 4 screws to hold the motor in place before use, since  there are no info about the setup of the PC 890 for the lift. but if there is a safety issue doing that since no way to know where the motor should be place before use?

I just bought this motor and the router lift but I can't use it until I know it safe  to use

(PC 7518)this router on this lift the has no Spindle lock Button and Lift plastic pinion attach to it.it's different the PC 890

Kreg sell these pads router lift but have no ideas how to setup the PC 890 but only for the 7518 LOL

Anyone here has the same problem to setup a Porter Cable 890 to a  Kreg router lift let me know and how to setup it the right way.

By the way The Woodpeckers V2 Pads PC 690-890  3 1/2 inch  sell at carbide Processors.com

Thank you

Never mind I found the answer from Woodpeckers Tech support

The answer for all model 3 1/2 same has the PC 7518,   the PC 890 series it's to removed the plastic track on the motor body two screws to remove, and when the motor touch the base of the plate screw the 4  screws that hold the motor in place, then the spindle lock button will be above of the plate

thank you
