Chat not working

it says there are 11 online in the chat, but when I open the chat, it only shows me, and when i post something to it, it doesnt show up. Is it screwed on my end or on the sites end?

I shut down and restarted the site, no change, shut down and restarted the browser (firefox) no change, then I shut down and restarted my computer... no change...

after refreshing and refreshing, it just started working again.... no one in there talking, but it is showing other members and showing what I type in....
