Kreg Owners' Community

I'm new to woodworking and I just purchased a miter saw.  I've been making different cuts just to get use to the saw and I was wondering, is it possible to use the Kreg Jig on a beveled cut?  I'm sure I could just make the cut and try for myself, but I was interested to see if anybody has tried this and had success with it.

it depends on what type of beveled edge you are talking about trying to screw together. If you are talking about putting a picture frame together then the pocket screw is awesome. I tried and tried to come up with a good way to connect my two long beveled edges together with pocket screws but ended up going with a biscuit. Check out the post and you will see what I am saying

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
