Gary, I believe they were 5/16 but you could go as small as 1/4" if you want. Any size will work really.

I built your Cross cut jig worked great to cut my shelf stock to size and also building clamping jig . I have it layed out for drilling the wholes . The bolts are they 3/8 ?

Hi Jay, this is the other Jay on the Kreg Community .  I viewed your video on the toy box as well as a couple others that you have made.  I was impressed with the fact that you seem to have it all together in making the videos and explain your work very thoroughly.   Your camera work is very good as is your discussion, explaining your process.  This is not an easy task and I just wanted to compliment you on not only on your work, but also for the dedication that you have, in helping others learn the craftsmanship of woodworking.    You have some fine talent and it is good to see someone who shares their skills with others.   Regards, Jay B.

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?
