"I used a 1/4" Router bit and put a Dato , I left about 3/8 of an inch of meat on the bottom of all four Sides... worked really well, just becareful....you'll have to do some math to see how big the actual bottom piece…"

"I used Min Wax Polycrylic over white pickled kitchen cabinets about 8 or 9 years ago, and they sitll look fine. It does not yellow like oil based poly, and are durable due to the acrylic in the formula. The finish looks just as it did then."

"Just remember it is in the bathroom and there will always be "moisture" in the air so be sure your finishing reflects this in your decision."

"Yes, this will be very helpful....Thank You Phillip. I am using Birch Wood 1/2" for the SIdes and 3/4" for the Fronts, and using the kreg Jig for assembly. I was hoping to use a Clear Finish on the Drawers, we do have a Shermin Williams…"
