Hi this is a review of the triton 2000watt router.I think its the most innovative router i have come across. The triton has 3 modes of depth setting, including a winder handle facility for table mounting. It is variable speed and loses no momentum under load.A big bonus for me its very quiet in use .Overall i give it 9 out of 10.

Hi roy, good choice for a table scenario, allthough did have a problem with the collett not locking on mine. But sorted under warranty.I think your right about the handheld scenario ,i have a smaller triton for this purpose but a little heavy compared too some go steady.
I purchased the 2400 watt version ready to put into a router table, I think it is just right for this application especially as you can adjust the height from the tool side on top of the table. I don't like the glowing bright orange color as I think this makes it look tacky and for handheld use it would not be my first choice, the Bosch with plunge & fixed bases would be better.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
