This is a Shaker style end table that I made a few days ago. It was the first project I used my Kreg pocket hold jig. I watch a video on Youtube making an end table with removable legs, but I was just getting familarized with my Kreg pocket hold jig.

Kevin, a nice, simple, solid job. Well done.

Bob, I am in favour of the corner lag Kevin used. A table in a tucked away corner holds up forever, but
with the rigours of family life and unfortunate accidents, legs can get pretty torqued. We've had nice
oak tables for twenty-five years, and though we're careful, the legs have needed a couple tweaks to
keep 'em solid. Plus, on Northern Vancouver Island, we get nearly three hundred inches of rain a year, so
the moisture changes can play havoc. If there had been a lower shelf, then I would probably be willing
to try just the screws, but I'd be watchful.
But then I've been known to wear a belt AND suspenders on occasion!

Take care, all

I think I might have left out the lag bolts and corner pieces, and just put 2 or 3 pocket holes through the aprins into the legs... Thoughts? Great quick table by the way.
