Tim, you might enjoy this and it might help you see the construction method.  It is a musical slideshow

and will take a bit to load.

Tim, sorry my 2 computers with cad programs are tied up with other drawings so I'll attempt give you some type of a idea as what I did to build the chest.  There is three files but exceed the 7mb allotment so ther will be  more after this.

Thank you very much Tim for the complement.  I'm sorry to say that I do not build from a plan.  I just receive a size and go from there. However since you like the chest and making one for your wife, I  will be more than happy to draw up a sketch as to how I built it.  I can give you the rough outside measurments and using 13/16" stock you can add and substrace using this formula and should not have any problems .  Basically it is all alder stock glue up from random  widths.  There is a piece of 3/4 inch birch ply in the bottom of which I used for strength to mount 4 100# rated casters that I hid using a skirt.  There is some 4" 3/4" rips of ply for ribs to attached the face frame and side panels, and some 3/4" ply rips for a slide rack.  The chest has 3 sets of four diffferent size  graduated drawers that have dovetailed jointry.  The drawers ride on full extension ball bearing slides.  The chest is all Kreg Jig pocket jointry and all joints are glued.  There is no nails in the chest.

i can complete a drawing for you in the next couple days and get it to you.  It would be my pleasure to see you build your wife one.  Keep in mind that one reason that I do not use any plan as when I build a special piece I build it as a "one of a Kind"  Makes it more special that way although it might look the same as another it is unique in its own way.   Thanks again and I will put a plan on your page in a couple days.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
