I'd like to apologize to everyone for my absence. It's been a good 6 months since I was active on here. I had a battle with A typical Pneumonia for a couple of months, but it wasn't as bad as it…Continue

Of all the tools I own (and I own a lot), One is a part of every project. My Kreg Jig.
As a small business owner, it is important to know you have all the right tools for each job. Without the proper tools, projects take longer, or the quality of the job can suffer... And that doesn't look good for anyone.
I stand behind every piece of hardwood furniture I make with a Lifetime Warranty. And because I do this, I rely on product and tools I can count on, day in and day out. Recently, the plastic slide on my Kreg Jig broke. A quick phone call to Kreg Service Dept, and 2 days later, my Kreg Jig was good as NEW..... And it didn't cost me a dime! "Stand behind what you do or step aside", that's what I say. I will eventually invest in every product Kreg has to offer. Not just because it's a great tool, but because they stand behind there product & I can count on them. Just as my customers can count on me.
Sincerely,
John Harrison

So many tools. So little time.
Craftsman, Makita, Skil, Bosch, DeWalt, Hitachi, Porter Cable, Dremel, Delta, Metabo, Black & Decker, General, Ryobi, Milwaukee, Kobalt.......
With all of the options out there, what's your preference? Why do you like the particular brand? And, which brands would you stay away from and why?
Personally, I have my own favorites in a variety of areas. For hand tools, I lean toward Craftsman. Power tools, DeWalt…

How is things going John, Have not been on here is a while other that to look at what some of the members are doing. I see that you wrote me back in 2021 so though I would writ one here so you would most likely see it rather than in the Jig's e-mail. Still watching the tools being designed and used. I am still building cabinets and doing custom wood work but the past couple years I have been doing the Customer and Tool Support for Sommerfeld Tools. This keeps me busy and I talk to many people from all over the place and is interesting in how things change from one place to another. I have this e-mail address if you wish to write me you can do so at maddoga38@hotmail.com Anyone else that reads this is welcome to call as I am still willing to help anyone with woodworking at any time and I still think about many of you members that I knew back when I was active on this site.
For Technical Support, please call 800-447-8638 or send a message. Reps are available Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm CST.
Hi. I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing. How effective is it? It's adaptable to any router table. Continue

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
