Hello Freddy, I totally understand how hard it is at times to get anything done with the duties one has in life now days. The above is a link that should open that shows you a slide show about a china hutch I build for a customer. It does have several pocket screws in it as well as some other joints. Hope you find some time to enjoy the woodworking fun.

Hello Freddy, I,m pleased to be a friend and happy to extend to you any and all tips that I can in assisting you with your kitchen remodel. I operate a cabinet shop here in Salem, Oregon where I build all types of wood project from cabinets to chests to entertainment and china hutches. The hickory collection is a set of cabinetry done for a customer . Hickory was picked as the wood of choice because of its durability and rustic looks. All these are custom built sizes and design. The cabinet boxes are all solid wood that are pocket screwed and glued together. They are tricked out with lower pull outs on full extention slides as are the main cabinet drawers. The hinges are European concealed. Some of the cabinets house dual tray lazy susans. The darked streaked and large black spots are done by using the knotty woods and using a black dye. I fill them with epoxy of which actually makes the wood stronger that it would be if it was just the wood with out any knots. The drawer boxes are baltic 11 ply birch that have dovetailed jointry. The finish is a clear coat lacquer of which gives the golden brown tones. The doors are all stick and cope raised panels with arched uppers and square lowers. I don't know if you saw the pantry doors in the utility room but these are also hickory flat panel doors with a western or Indian design in each corner. All the angles you see are also glue and pocket screw design which give you a tight well constructed joint. I am thinking about doing some type of a video on all the tricks I have picked up using the kreg jig pocket screw technology over the years. I do have some cd disks that I have made building some projects of which I have actually used as a business card.

Looking forward to exchanging ideas and Welcome Aboard. There are alot of talented members with all types of ideas. Best of luck on your project(s) Jay Boutwell

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
