My daughter wanted storage and book cases to fill a wall in her living room turning it into a library. We decided that base cabinets would be best but she also wanted a drawer unit. I was originally going to do it like kitchen cabinets with a drawer in each and door below but then we decided that it would be nice if we had a single cabinet of 3 drawers flanked by cabinets with large door to make it easier to store all her stuff. Basically I listened to my client.

Bob,
What I posted is only 1/2 the project. There are also 4' hight book cases that go on top of the base cabinets. The cabinets are simple boxes and the Kreg is ideal for making them. I did not use any glue except when I attached the edge band to the counter top. I was able to transport everything flat and them assemble them on site.

Let me know what I can help you with.
Jay

Miter Saw Recommendation

I’m looking to upgrade my miter saw. I’m willing to invest a good amount of money to get one with the precision pocket hole joinery requires. Would anyone like to offer a recommended model?

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…

Not Pleased With Pocket Hole Construction

Several months ago, I purchased the Kreg K4MS so that I could build the Lego Table as outlined on the companion "buildsomething" web site which exclusively uses pocket hole construction.  I have considerable experience with conventional…
