As far a I know Danish oil is just tung oil with some polymerizing agents. It's easy to apply and hardens on drying forming a low sheen durable finish. I applied 1 coat of dark stain and 6 coats of danish oil on the top, sanding with a 400 grit between the coats of danish oil.

Yeah Skipper- I jut used a chamfering bit in the router. I used the same bit to groove the bench boards.

Hey MO.  I have another question.  That danish oil you mentioned, is that some kind

of preservative?  And did you put any other kind of stain on it, along with the danish oil?

 Well, that's two questions! (LOL)

Thanks for posting the measurements, MO.  I am used to inches; so I used a

conversion table to get the inches.  I would like to build a table like that for the

back patio!  And it looks as though you did a bit of router work on the tabletop.

Is that correct?

Hi Jerry,

The table legs are 70 mm square and the bench legs are 40mm square. All joints including the top are 'kregged'.

Are the legs about 80mm square?

Like the table.  I have some 2-1/4" or 57mm thick Douglas Fir slabs that I'm thinking of making some tables from.  This design would be easy to build.

Fine looking piece of work.  May I ask, what type wood did you use; & what are the dimensions?

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
