Thanks for the compliments, Mike.  I used the plans found at the link below as a guide, and adjusted them to fit a "full" size mattress.  I also adjusted the box at the end of the bed to have only two compartments instead of 3.

Well done!  If you don't mind, I may pattern my daughter's bed after yours.  Do you have any plans or simply determine dimensions of mattress and go from there?

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?
