Sharon, this is indeed the Ana White bed with some slight modifications. I adjusted the plans down to a full size bed from a queen, went with two cubbies at the foot of the bed instead of 3 (I thought it would be nice to have a couple of larger boxes for storing blankets and the like), and went with what I felt was a simpler center support design than what her plans called for.
The white paint was my wife's decision. I wanted to put a light colored transparent stain on it, but must admit that the paint is quickly growing on me.
Thanks to all for your comments.
John one of the best bed room storage solutions out there. You have made one that is well made and will certainly give you some great service. Looks like alot of storage and alot bigger that most that I have seen. I like how you left it a light colored wood as it just seems to lighten up the bed and the bedroom. Most I have seen are stained a dark color and it just seems to make this bed storage stand out as a furniture appeal to the eye. It makes a statement of classic design. Good job John.
Anyone can get the plans over at www.ana-white.com
My 19 year old made one BY HERSELF! along with the farmhouse headboard, also plans from Ana's site. Very cool and a great bed! Nice job John! I like it in white!
Everybody can use more storage! Might even make the youngsters clean up more!!

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
