Hi Thomas, very nice bench.  Excellent design and details with good execution of work.  All clean lines with crisp shoulders on the corners.  With this being your first piece that you have drawn up and built I would say that you are well on your way to becoming a fine craftsman.   Think what you will be able to do when you get a couple years of experience behind you.  I like all the features that you have included in this build.  Here you have put together a strong and nice looking bench made of a good hardwood.   Thank you for sharing your work.

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?

I making a hex ring out of 2x4s ripped to 2 ¾ inches wide with 30 degree miters.  What setting on the Jig should I used? 1 ½ is too much.  Thanks.Continue
