Was tired of my spices falling off the top of the fridge every time the kids open and slam the door closed. Made from 1x2s (actual size 5/8 x 1 3/8). Will go back and cover it with 1/4 ply.

I ended up changing my plans three times when i was building this. I planed it out on paper, drew it to 1/4 scale and it was perfect. When I started to build it I realized that it just would not work. I figured what would and started all over, then realized that would not work and had to add to it. Then had to add to it again.... Most of it is assembled with 1 1/2 in brad pin nails and glue. The last addition to the build could not be added with brads, so I did pocket hole them and added them, and it turned out OK, but I ran out of time (sun was setting) before I could add the plywood skin to it. It is not professional, but it is functional. I am happy with it.

Hello Mike,

Your spice rack looks good, well done.

It reminded me of the one I made one for my son some time ago, it was also prompted my the stack of spices he had and like yours which kept falling over when he was looking for a particular one.

If I can find a picture of it I will post it on the Kreg pictures, dont let on there are no Kreg screws used in it !!

regards

Robert Brennan
