Doing well Mick.   I have some time off work coming, a couple of long weekends and a week off in October.  Hoping to take that October week and prepare the garage for the cold that will soon follow.  You and your wife would love the fake candles.  Some look more real than others.  My favorites are on built in timers.  They come on at the same time each evening and shut off on their own.   Here is a pic of some of my favorites.  The beauty of these is that you can set them in areas like a enclosed shelf to get the look of a burning candle without the hazards.

You are having a lot of fun with your recycles!  Like Jim, nice rustic charm.  My other love is faux candles.  Each evening my home is lit with the glow of burning candles (all on timers).  I love the effect without the hazards of open flame.
