Thanks Jim, I went looking for an edge bead router bit today. On the long car-ride home I decided to sort out the counter top material and attachment method before I get to much further along. Thanks again for sharing your builds.

Hi Andy, I used pocket hole screws from the underside to attache the lower shelf. they hold very well and there isn't really that much weight to support anyhow (a few towels and basket with misc stuff).

nice job i never thought of useing 1/2 for the ends but i have to keep cost down.

Hi Jim, very nicely done and inspiring. I've looked at the pictures and I think read all your comments but I am stumped on how you attached the lower shelf. Is it simply screwed into the legs from the underside? Thanks for sharing your work.

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?
