Hi Jose.  I am certainly no expert and I'm glad to share.  I used the Minwax pre-stain wood conditioner, then their Golden Oak to get the color we wanted.  I know I only did one coat of the pre-stain conditioner, and I'm fairly certain I only used one coat of the stain to get the color we wanted.  I sanded between each coat.  Then I just used the MInwax clear gloss polyurethane, I believe I used a total of five coats on all exterior surfaces and three on the inside surfaces, light sanding between each.  I probably went overkill on the exterior surfaces and could have stopped at three.
