Kreg Owners' Community

This weekend there is a pumpkin festival at the park right next to my house...setting up a sample play kitchen to take orders for Christmas. Question, what would you charge for Sink, Stove with working timer and light, fridge, "stainless Steel" that is magnetized, with a chalkboard on the inside? This sink is almost done, adding trim, all knobs turn. Any ideas on price> any answers would be appreciated.
Total Cost, 125 to 150, solid pine, faux granite countertop...

Great work Angie,

It will be interesting to see if the pink one results in  any difference in the sale price.

HeyI have been trying to use my kreg Jig on 1/2 or 12mm plywood today.

After lots of sample runs on test scraps I formed the opinion that ply at the mimimum size is not really suitable for kreg Screws, so I decided to use rebates and glue for the under bed boxes i am making for a friend of ours.

thanks Robert, I sold this set, 225, not dble quite, but it was out all day and it was a tester. I'm doing a pink set for 250, order for Christmas. Your note was very helpful. Sometimes, you want to make something so bad, and the reward is not quite there, (although your personal reward is great) Each project I do, I get better and better, and thoroughly impress myself!

thanks again, '

Hello Angie,

I would suggesting at least double the construction cost, then check on the net for similar items.

Beware of china originated products because from what I have seen you wouldnt be able to buy the materials for the cost that they sell them for!

I have the plans for a childs balance bike but on the net/ebay they are about $40 to $60.

I dont think I could buy the two pump up wheels for $40 let alone all the material, then construct and finish it  with the intention to sell at a profit.

StillI will have some fun making it if I can siurce all the parts.

Your sink looks very nice, the granite paint finish really sets it off,

Regards

Robert Brennan
