I am wanting to replace my window seat and this is exactly what I needed for me to get it going.  I can build the base just like you did and the drawers are what I am wanting.  Thanks so much for the idea, as I can get this project started now.

The size can be for a twin, queen or a king. The bed can be expanded to accomodate all 3 sizes. There is a little length difference from twin to queen. This can be taken care of with a head board or throw pillows. This one is will be used for a queen. Nothing is needed. The dimensions for the base cabinets can be determined by looking up the mattress sizes on the internet. You can adjust the height and the drawers to your taste.
