yes, I don't think that I would have attempted it without the jig. I did watch several videos seveal times before using the jig. I also sketched the layout of the room and marked which type of cuts I had to make for each corner. I learned it also helps if you can make the cuts in the room that you are going to instal lthe crown molding.
Did you find the Crown jig helped. I purchased and pre stained crown for my whole house. Hu
bby did one room and swears I must do the rest on my own! He just couldn't get it visually and made more mistakes than good cuts :(
