Heres some totes and candle holders i made for some friends,and some drinks coasters which were made from a old house name plate i like to recycle objects.

I bet they would have looked amazing Michael, who ever received the gifts would have been really happy.

All most forgot al, filled the totes with goodies small bottles of wine ,cheese,chocolates,coffee .And my eldest daughter gift wrapped them ,they looked amazing.

AL,all made of scraps wood here really expensive.The totes are made of oak flooring which retails at $150 per square yard.It was going in the skip where i was working so i rescued it .Allthough looked funny going down the road with it under my arm on my trusty motor scooter haha.

They are really nice gifts, I am sure that they will be a hit with the people who will be receiving them. Nice job and thanks for sharing your work with us. Its really cool when you can recycle something into another useful object. well done.

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?

I making a hex ring out of 2x4s ripped to 2 ¾ inches wide with 30 degree miters.  What setting on the Jig should I used? 1 ½ is too much.  Thanks.Continue
