Type of screws: coated exterior available from Kreg.  Length depends on the thickness of the material.

Pressure Treated:  Yes, you should allow that material to dry (may take a couple of weeks)

How:  keep in a covered area, stacked with spacers between the boards.

Plugs:  Pine, cedar, or paint grade

What type of screws did you use?  Do you have to wait for pressure treated to dry before you joint them?  If so how?  What type of plugs do you use? I am going to start on my three gates this weekend.
