Thanks fore the kind words. I cutout the corners of the bottom board to match the legs and attached with glue and pocket screws underneath.

Great job! I'm looking for some ideas to replace an island in a trailer that is used for vacations. How did you attach the bottom board to each of your posts? I'm concerned about making that attachment strong enough to withstand the cabinet weight, counter top and sink weight, and "stuff" weight (i.e. pots, pans, canister sets, etc.).
