Hello Ray,

I think I sence a leg pull here.

After looking at your work it inspired me to do some of my own.

So I set out with a few pictures from a magazine and began.

Three days later I have almost finished.

I spent almost 2 hr making the legs alone.

Sequence of events.

1 Study the picture and figure out how the curve is made

2. Rough out two pairs of legs using the bandsaw

3. Cut the dado for the sides with the shaper

4. Cut each leg out using the table saw.

5. Sand the curves to an acceptable dry fit up stage

6. Drink a beer, and I didnt drink too many either.

Either you have a workshop full of fairy heplers or I am a slow doddering old fool, come on 2 hrs really?

Any way check out the pictures I posted

Hi Jeff, I probably made them in about 2 hours not counting the time it takes to finish them.

Thanks Robert, They are made up from 1/2' red oak, with min wax gunstock stain, I used min wax high gloss spray poly on them, the felt came from micheals crafts, just a pc. of self adhesive felt cut to fit and the inlays came from rockler.

Once again thanks for your kind words

Merry Christmas Ray and family,

Nice work on the boxes!

Lots of questions a a result,

What is the timber you have used please?

I see a small section of the internal base, what is the finish? flocking or solid felt?

The pictures are a bit hard to see in regard  to the inlay/trim finish what have you used there?

Keep up the good work !!

Regards

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
