To get the look...
I used two patio door pulley wheels to glide along the track. the track is a 1 inch by 1/8 inch steel bar from home depot(about 10$) It's held in place with long screws and about 7 washers to get the right distance from the wall.
The bottom of the "t" bracket has a screw with a lock-nut behind it. I used epoxy to cover it with a metal button.
The "shutter" dropstop is made of a wooden drawer pull and covered with a metal button.

Great ideas for giving it an upscale look.

The T and L brackets along with the patio door wheels, and drop stop wooden drawer pulls were from home depot. The covering caps were from a craft store (possibly in scrapbooking section) same with the decorative washers, craftstore like Michael's.
