Rick F,

I posted some pictures from earlier on in the construction phase if you want to see more of the assembly process.

Rick F,

I used Cedar for the entire structure.

The fence is only on the north side.  There is rubber brown mulch on the inside area where we will be walking.  I may eventually add a center bench with a flip up seat for storage of tools.

I used 2x6 for the sides and the top ledge.  The cleat underneath the ledge is a routed 2x4.

Perhaps I can post some pictures that I took during the build.

I did use a high pressure low volume sprayer to apply stain/sealer.

Very nice work wanting to do something like this in the spring, couple questions if you don't mind,
What kind of wood did you use and did you seal it?
Did you use the fence all around or just the one side
What is in the middle on the ground
Is that garden compost soil for the bedding
And last did you use 2x10? For the base
Thanks so much and again nice work

Thanks so much.  It definitely was more work than expected...especially digging out the inside of the hill by hand...but I'm happy with the end results.

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
