Craig you have the gift man.  Great job on the details and craftmanship.

I am absolutly stunned with your work. I am going to give it a whirl for a wall in my house that needs just such a piece. Thanks for the inspiration!!!

I have a love hate relationship with infomercials.

Absolutely amazing. I can't imagine drilling that many holes.
(And by the way, I know what you mean... who knew an infomercial could change lives! But it did mine! LOL)

I just posted 3 "behind the scenes" photos to show you the back side of my art to see the pocket holes. With the exception of the very narrow branches on the trees (secured with glue and staples), everything is done with the Kreg jig. Glad I saw that infomercial one morning at 5:30 before going to work! It changed all of my artwork.

Thanks!
After designing the look of the abstract, geometric, symmetric, or tree inspired pieces, I cut my pieces of pine or reclaimed barn board. Then, using the Kreg Jig, I made my 90 degree pocket holes, or using the Mini Kreg Jig I make the angled holes. By carefully planning the location for angled pocket holes, the Kreg Jig does a great job of joining my wood. As you can imagine, lots and lots of measuring, cutting, and thought goes into making these pieces just right. For example, Overlapping Squares is comprised of 156 pieces of wood cut from a 1 x 10 plank of pine. Without the Kreg Jig, there's no way I could build pieces with the strength that the pocket holes do. The best part is there's no dry time and I do all my work with just 2 clamps.

Can you tell us a bit more about how you make these? Gorgeous.

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
