The end panels are raised multiple panel design using a stile down the center of the cabinet end and a top, bottom and middle rail. Despite its weight it is build in a single piece. Thus I went to Bend to do the job and using the customers shop, whom is a general home builder.
Looking close you will see a custom built turn table under the tv to allow the tv to pull out of the cabinet 18 inches and piviot in any direction.

Thank you Michael for the nice comment.  Yes the customer owns this nice big shop complete with all the tools.  He is a general contractor that builds custom homes.  I built this in Bend, Oregon due to it being a big, tall and very heavy  unit.  It is built in one piece and custom to fit one wall of the home.  It would have been pretty hard to built it here at home and then hauled it to Bend.  Then too it also gave me an excuse to get away from home for a few days.  Although hickory is a tough and heavy wood I do like building with it.  Thank you again.

Thanks Stachua, It was a joy to build and the customer really flipped for it. What you have not seen is the doors that go on it. I have misplaced the door photos since this unit is located about 200 miles east of me I went to the home and build it in his shop. Then I build the doors here at home and sent them to him. The doors are raised panel with the speakers hidded behind black fabric. The long top door is a glass panel framed with hickory. I sand blasted it and to a semi transparent surface, then hand painted a stage coach with a team of running horses in a black porceline paint. It is then back lighted with a golden glow colored light whihc looks lik a sunset. When I find them I will post them. Thanks again for the comment and best to you in your work. jay
