Yes, you are right about that!! LOL I'm sure that we all have some of those when we start out. I know that I do! LOL :)
Why Thank you Mr Dean. How are you?
Glad you like the table Leslee. That is actually my kitchen floor. The table will rest on carpet. I had to haul the heavy beast into the house and let it rest there while I cleared dust bunnies from what would be its resting place. LOL I doubt my efforts will ever become second nature but I am enjoying stretching my skills a bit with each piece.
Lorrie, working solo does have some advantages...if you hide your uh-ohs well enough, no one is the wiser! Heheee.
nice work Mrs. Rita like how you done the trim. And the multi mark is sweet to I got one to.
Hi Rita, Yes, I wish we lived closer! we would have so much fun building projects together!! I know that I do my work alone and it seems like you do as well. It's nice to have someone there to lend a helping hand every now and then. Especially when working with the big sheets of plywood! LOL
I really like your end table, Rita. You matched the stain on the end table to your floor not bad. You are sure getting better every time. I love that little tool the multi mark it is great to help in adjusting your router depth and table saw depth. I even used it to help with my trim around my shed door to my shed/shop. In no time the grain pattern and the squareness will be second nature to you.
Another Kreg tool that helped immensely on this project was the multi mark. You would not believe how many times I reached for that little thing when I needed adjustments.
Thanks everyone!
Jim, the grain is one of those things I wish I had paid more attention too. As my second furniture build, I found myself concentrating on the fit and squareness of the piece. Forgetting all about the over all look of the finished piece.
Lorrie, we should live closer! It would be so much fun talking about shopping, jewels and the latest splinter that wrecked the manicure LOL!
Ha Mick! you know there is no end to sawdust!
Hi rita, what a lovely job on the end table.Just one question rita when are you makin the other end ha.Forgive my English sense of humour wonderful job rita.
Hi Rita, your end table looks great!! I like the top . I also like the way you routed the drawer. very nice! I'm sure that it will give you years of enjoyment and you will have the bragging rights that you made it!! You did a great job! :)

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
