Comment by West Davis. . .  Sometimes the simplest design can attract the most accolades. Such is the case with your beautiful end table, Steve. Forgive me if I have missed this, but if you have not revealed the wood you used would you please do so now. Thanks, West

Steven, Excellent piece of craftsmanship.  I also like the  pull out feature of the table.  The finish is very nice, makes the wood grain  look like it is saying, "Touch Me".  The grain is very stunning accented by the finish that you have applied.  Something to be proud of and giving everyone the satisfaction of seeing a well crafted project.  Thank you for posting.

Thanks guys, and to James,  I I finish all the pieces before I put it together, so I can stay from the " got to have it now" syndrome. :)

First time I really had a need for the ACS miter guide.

I've been using my Adaptive Cutting System table for a few years now, and it's been really solid. This past week was the first time I ever needed to use the miter guide though.I was rebuilding some shelving in a tiny closet and I discovered the…Continue

What thread and size screw to use 2 Replies

I am building a small trunk for a military friend to put some belongings in. I have made legs out of ash hardwood and will make the sides out of 1/2” or 3/4” Baltic birch plywood. The legs are 1.5” thick by 2” wide. So since I’m drilling pockets in…Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
