Dining Table

Dining table somebody asked me to make. They saw design they liked and we modified it to fit their needs. 9 feet long and 3.5 feet wide top. Top was fixed to base using buttons and slots to allow it to expand and contract without warping on the base.

I would love to know if this is expandable. We are a large family and entertaining requires seating for 12+ people. Rustic and serviceable are what I am looking for. You have me great hope and inspiration!
