I made this door with a frame of cedar 2 x 6 for our neighbor's garden. The 2 x 6 pieces are joined at each end with three 2 1/2 inch Kreg blue screws. The inset panels are rough cedar about 5/8 inch thick and joined with biscuits and water resistant glue. It replaces a used door he had found, but it succumbed to the rain. This is in Vancouver, Washington where there is a lot of wet weather. He wanted cedar because the posts around the door are cedar and hold up well in the moisture. He had the stained glass and his wife chose the color. The door separated his compost bins from the rest of his yard.
