Thanks James. Appreciate it. I tried a new stain I've never used before by Minwax. It's minwax express; comes in a tube. You jjust shake the tube well and apply with a clean cotton rag. It's already got the "finish" in the stain and dries in about an hour. I noticed it was dry in about 45 minutes in my house. It doesn't stink up the house either, which is great. If you do small projects, it's a good way to go. I will however put a semi-gloss clearcoat on top of this one. Happy NEW YEAR.
