Lonno, thank you very much for the compliment! I'm glad if you're able to draw from my work for your own. It really adds to a sense of accomplishment if someone else looks at your work and decides to jump in and create something as well. However, be prepared. As easy as it is, its time consuming and can burn you out. I took a couple of weeks off of the project to concentrate on other things around the house but going for my final push here this week and weekend, putting doors on the bases, getting it sanded and stained. Best of luck with your pantry cabinet! If you have questions, let me know.
Denny, Great job! You're an inspiration to the rest of us "new b's". I've been thinking about a floor to ceiling "custom built"cabinet very similar to this in my kitchen and was worried that the "bump out" cabinet in the center wouldn't look right. I want to use the other sections as pantry items with closed doors and the "bump out" section as deeper open shelves to hold the numerous kitchen appliances that I have. You've done all of the work (and a great job at that) and have inspired me to go forward with my plans. Thanks!
Thanks! I appreciate the compliment! I'm using birch ply with soft maple for the facing. I didn't really start with a thorough plan so I hope it all ties together in the end.
Hi Denny, I really like your project. Are you using birch?

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
