This was my first major project. We just remodeled the bathroom and had this window in this spot. The wife wanted some shelves but didn't want to loose any space. So i removed the window and installed this shelf.

Hey Buela, first of all let me apologize for not getting back to you sooner. I've been pretty focused on my real job over this past year as a lot has been going on to keep me busy.
To answer your question, I did it the hard way. I measured out each hole about 1" apart and drilled the holes with the help of one of those rubber spacer things. (I'm very technically versed when it comes to certain woodworking tools yet. LOL) Not to long after I completed this, an article came out in one of the wood working magazines telling how to do this an easier way. There are templates available but you can use perforated board as your template. Then just use those little shelf pegs you can get at most home improvement stores.
Very nicely done!
That's a lot like the project I'm planning to try as my first major project. How did you handle the adjustable shelves?

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
