Thanks a lot Ken
justin,
,,,and some skilled craftsmanship.
Very Nice look!
Inspiring.
Thank you Donna! It does take a lot of patience for inset doors, a lot of patience!!
That is impressive, Justin! I am in the process of building cabinets with inset doors for our bathroom (which I have never done before, but there's a first time for everything)! I'm not finished yet, but have developed an appreciation for the patience it takes to do this right!
Beautiful job!
Donna
Doug,
I misquoted, it's the 1 1/2 HP. Yeah, I'm keepin her! I was right in the middle of making kitchen cabinets for a customer and it died. I'm going to take it to get fixed, but what a pain. I will let you know more when it comes in!
Take care,
Justin
Hey Doug, I appreciate the feedback. As luck would have it, my Milwaukee router took a dump today. I'm not sure if it's the power switch or a brush, having spent $300 on that I can't imagine doing that again. My beloved wife has offered to buy me a Shaper, I have decided on the 2hp Grizzly, adding the mobile base, the spindles for the router bits, shipping, freight etc. it comes in at $830, but I'm hoping that I won't have to spend any more for another 15 to 20 years in that area! It got pretty good reviews so I'm going to give it a shot. It comes prewired for 110, but can be rewired for 220 (that's my plan). I will let you know how it performs when it comes in!! Take care!
Thanks Jim, honestly I don't do enough of the beaded face frames to offset the cost of the Kreg system. I'm also thinking of moving to a shaper too so that really kills it. haha
Great job on the miters! I know how time consuming it can be. Looks like you could use Kreg's Beaded Face Frame system. be sure to put it on your list to Santa next Christmas :-)
Thanks Mike and Denny! All you do is take 3/4 inch stock and run it through your router with a 1/8 inch beading bit then cut it at the table saw, joint that edge and do it again. I got the the idea from seeing Norm do it on New Yankee believe it or not. As far as the face frame, I made them 1 5/8 wide, then adding the bead you're at about 1 7/8.
Nice touch and seems fairly simple to do! I may have to steal that idea for my project to add a little something to it LOL. Good work!

I making a hex ring out of 2x4s ripped to 2 ¾ inches wide with 30 degree miters. What setting on the Jig should I used? 1 ½ is too much. Thanks.Continue

Hi All.....I have the 35mm Kreg Jig hinge drill guide. The guide is great for 35mm Hinge Cups, but I have a speciality 40MM hinge cup to drill.Has anyone adapted the Kreg guide to work with 40mm Forsner drill bits? Or have a guide that works…Continue

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
