The Herro, a Custom Cherry TV Armoire

The Herro, a Custom Cherry TV Armoire

It is truly an amazing feeling when people are seeing your work around the globe and want to hire you to build something for them. I hope my projects give you ideas and inspire you in your own creations.

This project was developed from photos of a similar unit that she wanted, but could not get one because her TV was too big to fit the small units that were available. The description is carried through the photos for your review. Thanks for admiring.

Thanks to Kreg for making projects much easier and faster to build!

Not at all Hazen, I wasn't thinking that. I am "all over the place," too! These doors are cope and stick, glued and pinned. I could have made them myself, but I ordered them from Donald Dean & Sons, Inc. instead.
This unit is two separate pieces: base and upper units.

Hey Bry, I apologize for slamming with a bunch of questions/comments throughout the site yesterday. ;-) I've been lurking for some time and am finally ready to begin some of my projects, so I finally came out of hiding. I am sure you were thinking..."man, this guy is all over the place!" But the truth is, it seems every project of yours I clicked on, I had already invisioned that particular project in a specific area of our house. Especially the two bookcase/wall units. Needless to say, I was psyched! I haven't measured the wall on which I want to put the armoire/wardrobe, but its like 12 feet long - plenty of room for a big boy cabinet. Which is why I liked your project because it was much wider than most of the armoire's I have seen in the various plans online that run about about 40-48 inches wide. And my wife is looking for more closet space. So I will most likely nab your plans online! Quick Question regarding your kitchen cabinet door frames. Are you KREG'ing your rails (as well as cutting a groove to slide in your panels)? Or are you half-lapping them? T&G? Just curious.
Thanks again-Hazen

Thanks! Overall 70" wide, 72" tall. Hinging the stile was necessary to ensure the doors opened parallel to the side panels, but that is not necessary. What are the dimensions of the area you wish to build in?

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
