Teak Shower Table/Stool

Built this teak table/stool for our shower I just finished remodeling. The wife really likes it.

If you want to play with a fun wood check out cambara, a South American mahogany type hard wood decking material.  Very stable, holds a fastener very well, finishishes well without stain to a very rich color.

Shane,

 

The top and stiles are 3/4" thick x 3" wide stock, and the legs I machined from a 2"x2" piece.  Be sure to use a sharp blade as teak splinters with dull blades.  jerry-

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?
