I bought the kreg mini kit and will try that and see if it hides the holes
Thanks Jim,
I finally got in the right position to see that if I moved the piece around a bit, slot A would line up without exposing the drill bit to the edge of the wood.
Looks great! I started to do this last year, but ran into a problem keeping the pocket holes that join the center points from showing. Were you able to get around that? If so, please share how. Thanks!
Menards here I come> And yes I am sorry it was on the DIY page
Hi Michael,
The DIY Network instructions mention 100 lights. I counted 48 also perhaps they have two joined together.
I never mentioned lights in my post, but that being said I do plan on painting them white and putting lights in them and I have purchased 3 sets of 5o clear mini lights to do all three.
Jim a simple question. you said 100 lights per flake? I count 48 or am I missing something? Plan on making some this weekend hope for a reply so I can buy lites. Mike Harris
Nice, Jim! That didn't take long!
