All made by hand from scraps apart from the lid central insert, a mixture of Australian Timbers.
Sanding was 120 to 1200 and then finished with tung oil

Thanks for the kind words,
Its a funny situation, when you rummage around in the bits you never throw away, then build an item with very little planning or instructuon, busily working away and using your own ideas produce something as nice as the result you saw.
Even my wife Aurora commented how nice it looked and she thought it was one of the best pieces I had made.
