Comment by Alex Shiells on August 23, 2011 at 9:12am: Nope, seems okay here. We are quite high up above sea level and it is fairly dry where we live. I have had the odd batch of MDF that was not glued right but most of the time it works great.

Comment by Alex Shiells on August 23, 2011 at 1:04am: Vito it is MDF that comes pre-vaneered with whatever wood you want. I live in South Africa and this is a species that we get. We can also buy the MDF with other vaneers such as oak etc. Hope that helps.
