Thanks Larry. I will see if I can scan it. I made some adjustments while cutting it so I am not sure how accurate it is.

I used four coats of oil based lacquer. The first gallon I bought was Valspar. I ran out so I used a gallon of Dunn Edwards lacquer because the store was closer. It is satin 20 sheen. My brother sprayed it with a combo airless/HVLP milwaukee sprayers. It worked awesome, especially for the $$.

What sort of finish did you use? It looks fantastic.

It was kind of an after-thought to honest. I posted pics of the conceptual drawings I did. The drawings vary slightly from the finished project but overall it is the same. The cabinet will be wired internally and a heavy extension cord will run over to an outlet. The router, compressor, and the charging station will be powered when in use. I still need to weld up a metal frame with casters to make it mobile. Thanks for the kind words guys, I wasn't sure how my first cabinet was going to turn out but I am pretty pleased. I learned a lot.

Great idea about that battery charging station.  I have designed three different ones and none have been what I need. The idea of now having a pull out shelf in a cabinet is the next version and it seems you have beat me to it.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the feedback. I will post my drawings, its not done on SketchUp or anything but it will give you somewhat of an idea. I'll post a couple new pics. I recently built a battery charging station into a drawer above the air compressor.

Nicely done sir!!  Any thoughts on putting together a set of plans?  This looks like what I need to put into my fledgling shop.

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
